Loreto Parents Association

Loreto Abbey Dalkey is one of 30 schools who have collaboratd to produce a Guide for Parents,
"Sharing Experiences and Suggestions around Alcohol and Substance Abuse".

This guide has been issued to parents of 2nd and 3rd years (check the schoolbags for this please!) and further copies are being printed for circulation to the rest of the Parents' Association shortly.

The Guide has inputs from parents, the Gardai Siochana, Medical and Psychological expertise, and of course the greatest experts of all on what is happening out there - students themselves.

A "must read" for all of us.

A suggestion for all parents:

- When your daughter is on a sleepover or late visit - text a "thank you" to the hosting parent. This is both good manners and a great way to validate that everyone is where they say they are! To get phone numbers of other parents in your daughter's year please click here.
